Julia writes As Jancis noted in UGC 2019s in bottle – right-bank reds, this was an exceptional vintage in Bordeaux: no extreme weather events, constrained en primeur tastings, reasonable prices. While Jancis focused on reds from the right bank, plus Margaux and St-Julien on the left, my share of the wines were all on the left bank: Médoc, Haut-Médoc, Listrac, Moulis, St-Estèphe, Pauillac, Graves and Pessac-Léognan.
