These 150+ tasting notes accompany my article Washington, land of plenty, which debates the merits of one region being able to make virtually any style of wine – as these notes illustrate. There are all sorts of wines on offer here, so it is very difficult to make sweeping statements. However, I do think it worth singling out a few producers who I think are consistently good, and whose wines I am keen to revisit: Gramercy, Hedges Family, Savage Grace, Seven Hills, Syncline and WT Vintners.
