Querciabella is a Chianti Classico estate near Greve which started with a single hectare of land in 1974 and has since grown to 74 ha (183 acres) in the Chianti Classico hills and 32 ha (79 acres) in the Maremma. As you can see from our tasting notes, the red wines are pretty special but the focus of a recent vertical tasting was Querciabella’s unique answer to white burgundy, Batàr.
