A round-up of tasting notes on about 120 current releases from France’s best-value region. See also this 2018 harvest report also published today, a few days after the worst floods in the western Languedoc since 1891.
As usual I spent the summer at our place in the Languedoc. As is the case every six years or so, much of the time last summer was spent hunched over my laptop attempting to update The World Atlas of Wine for the eighth edition, which is due to be published in October 2019. (It’s a big job.)
