It’s been some time since I was able to report on the wine ranges of Aldi and Morrisons. Despite the issues generated by the pandemic, both retailers (with different approaches) showed UK wine writers what they are up to when they managed to hold autumn wine tastings. Neither press event was back to any form of ‘normal’ but it was certainly useful to have the opportunity to taste some of their latest selections.
