It's certainly a treat to taste 14 vintages of Clos de la Roche but this was just one of the excitements in the collection of 45 tasting notes below, which include no fewer than seven seriously mature Meursaults, six premier cru Chambolles, four Latricières and no fewer than five Chambertins. But in fact the single most memorable wine was a 1966 Volnay Santenots, still going extremely strong. (Yes, I am too cautious in my drinking dates! See this thread in our Members' forum.)
