I actually found myself crying out loud while tasting some of the dry white bordeaux yielded by the challenging 2012 growing season, 'I think I'm falling in love with Sauvignon Blanc again'. This is a state I have not known for many a long year, even if the first wine I ever bought by the case was a fine Sancerre from a shamefully distant vintage.
