Bordeaux again – 2010, 2009 and 2008 compared
The Merignac–Gatwick route was busy last week with Bordeaux wine producers coming over to London for various showings of their latest vintages to British consumers and trade. In addition to big tastings of 2010s organised by Bibendum Wine and Montrachet, and The Sampler, the following crus classés jointly showed a selection of their latest vintages at Somerset House in London. (Round the vast, grand courtyard of Somerset House, a set of animal heads by the 'disappeared' Chinese artist activist Ai Weiwei was just being installed as the artworks from Bordeaux were shown inside.)
