Contrary to my expectations, my tasting of some 80 Riserva 2010 Brunellos the week before last did not turn out to be the unalloyed pleasure I was hoping for. The results of an outstanding vintage, comparable with 2004 in sheer class, most of the wines were a chore to taste due to high levels of extract, tannins...
