Michel Drappier of Champagne Drappier, in Urville in the southern Côte des Bar, or Aube, certainly believes in 2020:
‘Vintage for sure. Very healthy grapes, no botrytis, no disease. The only problem in some exposures was sunburn and some shrivelling. Yes, acidity was low but only on the taille (second pressings) and we do not use the...
