Champagne deals are already sprouting to ease British wine lovers' spending on the forthcoming festive season, as it's known. Leading supermarket Tesco reduces the price of every single champagne it offers from 10 November until 18 November.
Best deal here is Charles Heidsieck Mis en Cave 1998 reduced from £23.49 to £18.79 a bottle. It's definitely not as stunning as its sublime predecessor which was based on the long-living 1996 vintage but it still an extremely superior champagne for less than £20.
