During this year's presentation of the new Chianti Classico vintages in Florence in February, the Consorzio's carefully prepared press kit promised nothing less than a 'Chianti Classico Revolution'. It made me a little wary, because if there is one thing history has taught us, it is that official politics never aim at instigating revolutions.
