Cirò’s wine spectrum is as diverse and dynamic as any other Italian wine region much further north, however little this is appreciated. Arch-traditionalists with a wealth of knowledge of traditional viticultural and winemaking practices, recent and very young arrivals fermenting wines in qvevri only, and everything in between can be found within the entire range of styles and approaches.
