At last month's annual Australia Day tasting in London I tasted a host of sparkling wines in search of good value, marked GV in the notes below. Kudos to Hardys and Jacob's Creek for proving their brand reliability by delivering very tasty fizz at good prices. A worthy mention also for comparative minnows Hesketh, who have a very attractive and inexpensive non vintage sparkling wine.
