‘Don’t expect Swartland wine producers to do one-hour tastings because our stories are not that short’, warned David Sadie (the Other One) when in London recently to celebrate the fact that the new UK importer of David and Nadia’s excellent Swartland wines is none other than arch-traditionalist Justerini & Brooks. A small group of us was treated to some verticals from their very young wine business and the stories behind it. This was indeed a particularly long tasting and lunch.
