The following notes were taken from two consecutive tastings in London last week to which I was despatched while Jancis and Julia tried to keep up with the numerous concurrent tastings of 2007 burgundy: the WineBarn’s annual German shindig and the much larger New Zealand wine trade fair (which was apparently busier than ever).
