Germany's 2011 GG reds

As you can see from our guide to coverage of Germany's 2012s, I have already reported on the Rieslings shown at the VDP's Grosse Gewächse preview in Wiesbaden at the end of August. Here are my first impressions of the 2011 Spätburgunder Grosse Gewächse shown there, although a few growers preferred to show an older vintage. I also include notes on a small number of Württemberg's Lemberger 'Show Reserves'.
