At long last, what we thought of the wines Tam chose for our tasting tables groaning with talent and diversity.
This has been a pretty tough year for the Languedoc, bookended in both spring and autumn by so much rain that in spring and early summer some producers lost up to 50% of their young grapes to mildew and in autumn floods swept devastation through towns, vineyards and wineries [and private houses and gardens – JR]. So it was good to put Languedoc under the spotlight for positive reasons.
