Jancis and I were looking forward in eager anticipation to this year’s Weinbörse on 28 and 29 April in Mainz to get a first glance at and taste of the 2018 vintage. Could the wines deliver on the early promise of a miracle vintage?
The message just after the crop has been harvested seems to be the same every year...
