Moët & Chandon and its Australian protégée

I have been increasingly impressed by the quality of traditional method sparkling wines made at LVMH’s outpost in the Yarra Valley outside Melbourne in Australia. They are sold as Green Point in many markets, including the UK, although the winery is known as Domaine Chandon. I was further intrigued by the decision of the head honcho there, long-serving Australian technocrat Dr Tony Jordan, to sell all their sparkling wines under stainless steel crown cap, so I assembled a collection of all of Green Point’s current sparkling releases (they make still wines too).
