Below are notes on one of the world’s great undiscovered treasures, described in more detail here. The wines described below are more than 20 of the most prominent really sweet PXs made in the Montilla-Moriles region in Andalucia (although look out too for the exceptional and slightly tangier PXs matured in Jerez). These tasting notes were taken in London on 8 Jun 2008 and in April in the bodegas of Alvear and Pérez Barquez in Montilla.
