The following is a collection of tasting notes taken at the Masters of Wine Symposium in Bordeaux last month (see MW Symposium Bordeaux – a guide). Most but by no means all of the wines served with meals were bordeaux and many of the notes were taken on my blackberry between conversations so are rather briefer than usual. However, since I know that many Purple pagers particularly appreciate guidance on the current development of wines they own, I thought it worth including them.
