MW symposium in Bordeaux

Last week's Masters of Wine symposium in Bordeaux felt like a great success to me – a triumph of organisation on the part of Fiona Morrison MW (Madame Jacques 'Le Pin' Thienpont) and MW student Jacques Lurton. 

I must confess that when I looked at the programme, I was a little worried that it was too soft and fluffy and would prove to lack meat and substance, but I take my hat off to all session co-ordinators, who seem to have made excellent preparations and ensured that their speakers delivered something for us all to get our teeth into, more...
