New buyer for Lay & Wheeler

Jeremy Palmer, managing director of Lay & Wheeler since the company was acquired by Majestic, announces that his old fine wine buyer from Majestic days, Nick Dagley (pictured), has been appointed as buyer at Lay & Wheeler, specifically concentrating on wines to lay down – ideally at the company's bonded warehouse facilities at Vinotheque (see Professional wine storage in the UK in Resources/Where to store wine).
L&W's longstanding fine wine buyer John Thorogood, who was kept on for the Bordeaux en primeur campaign last April, is leaving to concentrate on his consultancy work, having worked for Lay & Wheeler...
