In a sign that the global economy must surely be in recovery, glass company Riedel has announced a super-premium range of hand-blown crystal spittoons. Dubbed the Pral Folio, they are aimed at 'the elite wine connoisseur as well as collectors of fine glassware', according to the in-house designer Willi Pral.
The really incredible aspect of these spittoons, however, is that as many as 10 different designs are available for different varieties and appellations – just the same as their stemware. The new spittoons will include Bordeaux Grand Cru, Burgundy Grand Cru, Chianti, Hermitage, Tinto Reserva, Loire, Montrachet, Riesling, Port and...
