The indefatigable Penfolds winemaker Peter Gago was in London earlier this summer to show the latest wines from the Penfolds stable, including Grange 2007 from one of Gago's more challenging vintages. I was lucky enough to try them and then some older vintages with dinner at Hix, Belgravia. It was a shame that that particular bottle of Bin 60A 1962 was not the best. But I would have been truly spoilt had it been more typical.
