Peter Lauer – VDP's new member

As noted in this 1,000-post thread on our forum, the wine estate Peter Lauer of Ayl on the river Saar is the latest addition to the ranks of the VDP Mosel-Saar-Ruwer and brings the number of members of the association, also known as Grosser Ring, to 33. This is no mean achievement, as the resident members of this regional chapter of the VDP are known to be very discriminating in their acceptance of newcomers – and, if a reliable source of mine is to be trusted, three other candidates were rejected in this year's secret vote.
