Pick and mix – assorted sweets

For many of us in the northern hemisphere, temperatures are sub-zero, and the prevailing feeling is that we deserve all the calories we can get. Why not from sweet wines, then? Here’s a selection I tasted last October, some of which I found very toothsome indeed.

It is worth noting how good some of the sweet wines produced outside Europe are now.
