Portugal's Tejo – region and river

Eleven producers from the central-Portuguese wine region of Tejo, pronounced te-zhoo (/ˈtəʒu/) and named after the river known as the Tagus in English, gathered in London last month to raise awareness of the region and its wines. This map shows the three main subregions (described below) and Tejo’s location within Portugal.
