This month, for the first time in more than three years, I have travelled far from Singapore to step foot in a vineyard. As the pictured bunch of grapes taken only a few days before they were harvested suggests, this was in the northern hemisphere (Sonoma County to be precise), although most of this month's tasting notes are from the southern.
