SITTing comfortably
A bevy of bevies below, as selected from this year's Specialist Importers Trade Tasting, a union of like-minded wine traders with interesting portfolios. Bearing in mind the recent forum discussion, I paid particular attention to the seven 2007 southern Rhônes that were open – although there were no Châteauneuf-du-Papes of that vintage on taste. These seven weren’t of disastrous quality, but they were by no means magnificent either. Clumsy balance seemed to be a bit of a problem.
