Unwins' ripping new idea

One of Britain's more moribund wine specialist retailers Unwins announced yesterday the launch of a potentially exciting and revitalising initiative: a new division of user-friendly wine stores in posh locations to be called Phillips Newman (the name of the holding company – obviously not chosen as a result of consumer research).
The big USP of these new stores apparently is that wines will be arranged and marketed not according to where they come from but according to their style. After listening to the words consumers use about wines they have come up with the following styles:
