Waiheke Island – an introduction

The overall quality of the wines I tasted over a two-day period on Waiheke Island was exceptionally high, demonstrating the prescience and hard work of those such as Kym and Jeannette Goldwater who pioneered winegrowing here in the late 70s and early 80s.
