30 October: Waitrose is offering 25% off all wines for one week only, from tomorrow Wednesday 31 October to 6 November. Worth taking another look at these tasting notes...
I wondered why I felt so completely exhausted by this tasting. It took place while Nick was in Australia with his Art of the Restaurateur, and when I got home our younger daughter metaphorically mopped my brow, sat me down, cooked me supper and sent me to bed. Now that I see I tasted 138 wines, several of them fortified, I understand her concern.
Waitrose always open far too many...
