What people think about different bottle closures

I recently took part in a survey about different closures – bag in box, natural corks, screwcaps, synthetic corks and technical corks. Skalli & Rein devised a questionnaire about attitudes to each stopper and you can see some of the headline results here.
When asked which sort of stopper was likely to find greatest favour with the consumer in the future, New World respondents backed screwcaps definitively whereas natural cork was favoured by Old World respondents overall with screwcaps in second place.
