With harvest fast approaching, there is a growing sense of anticipation in the vineyard. The weather for this final trimester has so far kept fair – that is, dry enough and warm enough – to allow for a healthy and abundant delivery. All that remains is ensuring everything is perfect for when the big day comes. It feels like we should be busy decorating the nursery or reading books of names. Meanwhile the vines grow ever more pregnant.
