As mentioned in Wednesday’s report, it’s hard to go wrong with Barbaresco in the 2021 vintage, from entry-level wine through cru. My tasting notes on 100 wines from the 2021 vintage are followed by 18 late releases and Riservas from earlier vintages. Within their vintage groups, the wines are grouped by commune, and within the communes by MGA (menzione geografica aggiuntiva, ie named vineyard), ordered alphabetically.
