Celebrating the first decade – a first report

Although several notable Purple pagers were prevented by the weather from attending, not least Martin Nettleton and his promised green frock, a couple of hundred Purple pagers and their guests braved the snow and travel chaos last night to taste 23 lovely champagnes and meet each other for the first time ever.
I'll report in much more detail on Monday and for the moment cannot even supply you with a photograph of last night in the German Gym as I have a horrible feeling that our official photographer Brad Currin may not even have made it home in Woking last...
