Last year, Wines of Hungary put on their annual Furmint February tasting just a couple of weeks before UK lockdown came into force. Thanks to some tenacious organisation, Zsuzsa Toronyi managed to pull off a virtual version in 2021 – sadly but inevitably much stripped down, nonetheless another delicious and fascinating delve into this mesmerising grape variety.
