Vintage 2020 in Brunello di Montalcino veers towards a lighter, fresher style, but trumps 2018, a vintage it is often compared to, because of its greater complexity. But while the wines overall are very attractive, it certainly wasn’t all clear sailing for producers, and not every wine came out unscathed.
