Artisan chocolate is trendy, but is it wine-worthy?
I’m not a chocolate lover. I’m not even much of a chocolate eater. So it may have been contrary for me to have agreed to test some chocolate samples. But the cynic in me was provoked by their PR’s email to Jancis, which began, ‘I wanted to get in touch with expert insight from Original Beans, the artisan organic chocolate brand that describes itself as “planet positive” and their wine pairing suggestions for single origin chocolate.’
Planet positive. Artisan. Single origin. Wine pairing. That’s the hashtags taken care of, Instagram quivering in expectation...
