Now that last week's second-year seminar week in Bordeaux is over, the next significant event is D-day itself, the dreaded exam. The week was very much geared towards instilling that realisation, but happily it managed to be interesting, reassuring and even enjoyable too.
Most mornings comprised a two-and-a-quarter hour mock tasting paper, in the exact format of the exams. It is invaluable as practice, and has given me a good sense of how I must improve my approach to the tastings. Formulae are key to ensuring every mark offered is addressed.
