Lay & Wheeler offer fine, mature bordeaux from 1928

Colchester wine merchants Lay & Wheeler are selling the contents of a northern European private cellar of red and sweet white bordeaux. Even they say they don’t fully understand why the vendor chose to offer his (I assume this collector is male, and wary of the uncertainty and commission involved in selling by auction) cellar to them but it provides wine lovers with a chance to secure vintages that are generally not available in quantity, by the single bottle.
Vintages span 1928 to 1990 (L&W apparently rejected wines older than this) and the company has done the job of cataloguing...
