Richard and I made our way round the wines Majestic chose to show wine scribes a month or so ago and present almost 130 tasting notes below, hoping those of you based in the UK may find them helpful for your pre-Christmas wine shopping. Next week we will publish a series of retailer presentations.
There were signs of particularly good fishing in the Languedoc and Bordeaux, and towards the end of the tasting I was pleased to see CEO Steve Lewis quietly tasting his way round the tables.
