M&S – autumn tasting

Richard Hemming and I tackled the 130 wines shown by UK retailer Marks & Spencer two weeks ago.  His tasting notes are appended '(RH)'.

This was a pretty good showing for an outfit so ubiquitous in the UK, though of course the usual problem is how to find the best wines.  M&S are not as communicative as many of their competitors about the exact detail of availability and I'm afraid too many of our favourites are offered in what they rather annoying call 'selected stores'.  Note too that some wines are not yet on the shelf – please read details...
