To celebrate Malbec World Day today (though I for one am getting a little overfed with special wine days, I'm afraid) we present Richard's most recent collection of Argentine wine reviews – JR
Las Bodegas are specialist importers of Argentine wine into the UK, and the notes that follow describe the newcomers to their range for 2012. These quite sensibly include – but also go beyond – Malbec and Torrontés, showing an aptitude for effectively crafting several different styles of wine.
At the top end, this includes a particularly good Sauvignon Blanc called Riglos Quinto and a suitably exhibitionist Viognier...
