Operation Seduction offers 50,000 bottles of free wine

Today is a good day for wine lovers to use Narbonne rail station, Carcassonne airport and enter or exit the Autoroute du Soleil in southern France. The vignerons of the Aude departement plan to give away 50,000 bottles of wine today to tourists passing through the airport, railway stations or even motorway toll stations (this one sounds quite dangerous to me).
The aim apparently is to tell visitors about the crise viticole [viticultural crisis] and tell them about the benefits of wine – rather superfluous for most visitors to southern France from northern Europe, I'd have thought. The vignerons want to counter the impression...
