Riedel glasses may revolutionise show results

Just as James Halliday was delivering his fiery Wine Press Club Lecture last Friday, Gilbert Labour, our Australian dentist-cum-wine judge sent the following report on one of the country's most influential wine judging events:
Just back from arduous sampling at the National Wine Show [in Canberra]. The introduction of the Reidel Chianti style tasting glasses as the standard, has made a huge difference. To James Halliday’s credit, he was instrumental in bringing those glasses into play.
What a difference in perception and appreciation! A big increase in well deserved medals, which perhaps would have been missed with the traditional XL5 glasses... who...
