A plethora of Penfolds, including their latest rare bottling pictured above, is among this assortment recently tasted by Richard in Singapore.
This month's selection of bottles range from a very commercial Moscato from Gallo, the world's biggest wine producer, to a multi-vintage blend of Penfolds Grange of which only 2,200 bottles were created.
Among others, there is a name new to these pages: Passel Estate, whose owners are partially based in Singapore. Their range of single-varietal wines are great examples of what Margaret River does well – typicality, precision, drinkability – although they are not available in the UK or...
