Wines from one of our favourite independent wine merchants. They really know their customers, hence the fairly narrow, but useful, price bracket.
Simon Taylor, who took the photograph above of his fine Chablis supplier, Frédéric Prain of Domaine d'Elise, started Stone, Vine & Sun in Hampshire after working in art for Sotheby's. It was a bit of a culture shock but I take my hat off to him for travelling, researching and actively seeking out exclusivities rather than relying on brokers and importers as so many retailers do. This selection of wines was made by him.
